**Job description**
- Drives the execution of the technical and architectural decisions made by the team, ensuring employment of the right practices, helping to problem solve and ensuring team members remain invested and collaborate.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to analyze ideas and demands for architectural fit and translates detailed business requirements into implementable solution.
- Partners with business and IT on solution architecture design. Keeps the alignment between enterprise architecture blueprint and recommendations and solution implementation.
- Ensures technical integrity, consistency, and quality of the solution on every stage of its lifecycle

**Preferred skills**
- Understands generally accepted software design principles, concepts and terminologies specifically but not limited to the following:

- Architecture design (C4 Modeling)
- Building Block Design
- Solutions Modeling
- Microservices Architecture
- Software Engineering
- Security
- User Interface (web/mobile) is
- Must have experience in integrating with Legacy systems.
- Knowledge of Development best practices, like TDD, BDD.
- Knowledge in design, presentation, and prototyping tools.
- Good to have experience in handling Application security and API Security.
- Good understanding of latest Industry standards and architectural patterns in Distributed Computing, Cloud, UI, and Database would be essential for success.
- Experience in coaching an agile technical team.
- Should have experience of DevOps practices - Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins), Configuration management tools (Git, Bitbucket), Unit testing (JUnit), Build configuration (Maven, Gradle), Code Quality (SonarQube) etc.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years IT experience, preferably 3+ years in a multi-national financial services company especially insurance
- 5+ years experience in sizable IT projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Create target solution architecture for modernization and transformation initiatives comprising of core insurance platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing cloud-native, microservices-based, and API-driven insurance solutions, leveraging modern architectural patterns and emerging technologies such as AI/ML, big data, and IoT
- Thorough understanding of common patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures for the Insurance domain, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.
