**Safety Officer**

**Experience: 2-5 years**

**Location: Ahmedabad (Client place)**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.

Conduct safety inspections and audits of the workplace and equipment to identify potential hazards and develop plans to mitigate risks

Collaborate with department managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into work processes

Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, personal protective equipment, and emergency response

Investigate and report on accidents and incidents to identify causes and recommend preventive measures

Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management

Stay current with industry trends and changes in safety regulations and standards

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field

Relevant professional certification, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)

Strong knowledge of local, state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards

Experience developing and implementing safety policies and procedures

Ability to conduct safety inspections and audits and identify potential hazards

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data and information

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Physical Requirements**:
Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs and ladders

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to wear personal protective equipment, such as a hard hat, safety glasses, and respirator

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
