**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in your designated section.
- Develop and test new recipes and menu items.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets our quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist in menu planning and cost control.

**Requirements**:

- **Proven experience as a Commis 1 in a high-end restaurant.**:

- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
