**Responsibilities & Key Deliverables**

**Key Deliverables**
- Plan the CAE Vehicle Strength & durability analyses for vehicle project to achieve virtual validation gateway by signing off Design Verification Plan with the design team.
- Ensure the quality of the analyses are done to achieve First time right Virtual Validation gateway by following CAE quality process and Check sheets.
- Conduct the assigned analysis by using CAE tools like NASTRAN/OPTISTRUCT, ABAQUS, HYPERMESH and HyperWork.
- To ensure that the strength & durability analysis are meeting the acceptance criteria to Virtual Validation gateway by suggesting and trying out various design changes so that the acceptance criteria is meet.
- To execute durability correlations in order to establish robust analysis methodologies by comparing the simulation result with the physical test result.
- To troubleshoot the vehicle failures and problems by RCA and suggesting appropriate testing sensors and systematically analysing the root problem.
- To analyse the vehicle test failures to achieve robust strength DVP by incorporating the lessons learnt into the DVP.

**Experience**

**MTech - 5 to 8 Years \ BTech 8 to 10 Years**
- CAE Durability analysis experience preferably with Automobile OEM or Tier I supplier.
- Should have done durability simulations, load cases for various vehicle systems like body, closures, suspensions, frame, fuel tanks, axles etc.
- Should have carried important types FEA Analyses: linear, non-linear, contact, modal, fatigue and vibrations.
- Should have gone through one complete product development cycle from start of project through vehicle proto testing, design trouble shooting till product launch.

**Industry Preferred**
- Automobile OEM or Tier I supplier
- **Qualifications**
- BE, ME or MTech - Machine Design
- **General Requirements**

**Capabilities**
- Sound fundamentals: Finite Element Analysis, Applied Mechanics, Strength of materials, Fatigue and Materials.
- Knowledge of various CAE simulation: Stress-strain, Modal, Stiffness, Strength, bolt preload, Fatigue, Vibrations.
- Knowledge of various Automobile Systems and their designs.
- Good communication and presentation.
