**Job Title: Microfinance Collection Officer**

**Job Summary**:
The Microfinance Collection Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely recovery of loan repayments from microfinance clients. The role involves field visits, client interactions, repayment follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the institution by minimizing loan defaults and ensuring client compliance with loan terms.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients for loan repayment collections.
- Visit borrowers in the field to remind, encourage, and ensure timely repayment of dues.
- Negotiate repayment plans with delinquent clients, where necessary, in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor and track overdue payments, update recovery status, and maintain detailed records of all collections activity.
- Educate clients on the importance of credit discipline and maintaining a good repayment history.
- Work closely with the credit and operations teams to resolve payment disputes or issues.
- Report daily collections and recovery performance to the supervisor or branch manager.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold the organization’s values while dealing with clients in challenging situations.
- Identify and escalate high-risk accounts or potential fraud cases to the appropriate authority.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a High School Diploma; a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field is an advantage.
- Prior experience in microfinance, field collections, or related financial services is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of loan products and microfinance operations.
- Ability to travel extensively and work in rural and semi-urban areas.
- Honest, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Proficient in local language(s); familiarity with digital collection tools is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- Field-based role with frequent travel to client locations.
- May involve working under pressure to meet collection targets and deadlines.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required depending on client availability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
