**Job Title**: Quality Checker - Bags **Location**: FARIDPUR, BAREILLY, UTTAR PRADESH **Department**: Quality Control / Production **Reports To**: Quality Control Supervisor / Production Manager **Job Type**: Full-time **Job Summary**: **Key Responsibilities**: - Inspect finished bags (handbags, totes, backpacks, etc.) for defects such as poor stitching, incorrect labeling, uneven seams, scratches, stains, or faulty hardware. - Verify that each bag meets design specifications, including size, color, material, and branding elements. - Perform in-process checks during production to identify and correct issues early. - Tag or separate defective items and report issues to the production or quality supervisor. - Maintain accurate inspection records and document non-conformities. - Collaborate with the production team to improve product quality and reduce defect rates. - Follow company quality assurance procedures and safety standards. - Ensure packaging meets the required presentation and protection standards before dispatch. **Requirements**: - High school diploma or equivalent (technical training in quality control or têxtiles is a plus). - Prior experience in quality checking, preferably in the bag or leather goods industry. - Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills. - Knowledge of quality standards and production processes. - Ability to read design specifications, measurements, and technical documents. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. **Preferred Qualifications**: - Experience with luxury or fashion accessories. - Familiarity with quality tools like checklists, inspection reports, and tagging systems. - Basic understanding of sewing, materials, and bag construction. **Salary**: "Based on experience" **Benefits**: overtime pay extra **Working Hours**: 9am -6pm **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹8,876.24 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: - Day shift - Morning shift Supplemental Pay: - Overtime pay **Experience**: - Quality control: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person
