**Role : Staff nurse ( Senior care)**

**Location : Maduravoyal, Chennai.**

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Resident Care**

.Administer nursing care to residents based on their individualized care plans, ensuring attention to their physical, emotional, and mental health needs.

.Monitor and assess resident health conditions, including vital signs, and promptly report changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

.Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, while promoting independence where possible.

.Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for each resident.

**2. Medication Administration**:

- Administer medications as prescribed by the resident's physician, including oral, topical, and injectable medications.
- Monitor for side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the physician immediately.
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper medication storage and handling in accordance with healthcare regulations.

**3. Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing appropriate first aid or life-saving measures until further medical help arrives.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency protocols, such as CPR and first aid, and ensure that all necessary emergency equipment is readily available and functional.

**4. Resident and Family Education**:

- Educate residents and their families on health conditions, medication, lifestyle changes, and treatment plans to promote understanding and cooperation.
- Offer support and guidance to families, helping them manage the challenges of caring for elderly residents with chronic conditions.

**5. Infection Control and Safety**:

- Implement infection prevention and control practices, such as proper hand hygiene, sterilization of equipment, and isolation protocols when necessary.
- Ensure the environment is safe and clean, reporting any safety hazards and assisting with implementing corrective actions.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹42,513.06 per month
