**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Thorough applied technical knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Arcserve Unified Data Protection (UDP) Admin and other backup tool such as TSM etc with some storage admin skills. Capable of performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

7+ Years of Experience

Hands on Experience in Arcserve UDP server installation/configuration in new Data center setup

Experience in planning / designing / implement the backup stretagy for different OS and products

Experience in BMR recovery for Physical servers

IBM Spectrum Protect (Tivoli Storage Manager) professional with experience

in installation/configuration of TSM servers, TSM clients and various TDP

products (TDP for SQL, TDP for Oracle and TDP for DB2) on different

operating systems like Windows, AIX and Linux.

Checking administrative schedules like DB BACKUP, BACKUP STG and client schedules; if any failures working on it based on the priority.

Registering nodes to the Domain and associating to schedules.

Designing, configuration, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting

Checking activity log for any HARDWARE or Application related errors

System state backup

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

Knowledge of managing storage would be advantage

Professional IT Certifications in related area
