As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a dedicated Converting Supervisor to join our Converting Department.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Supervision**: Manage and lead a team of converting operators and technicians, ensuring they meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

2. **Process Optimization**: Continuously assess and improve the efficiency of converting processes, implementing best practices and process enhancements to maximize output and minimize waste.

3. **Quality Control**: Oversee the inspection and quality control processes to ensure that all labels meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications.

4. **Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods inventory to ensure adequate supplies for production and timely dispatch.

5. **Equipment Maintenance**: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that converting machinery is well-maintained and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.

6. **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.

7. **Training and Development**: Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in label manufacturing processes.

8. **Reporting**: Prepare and maintain production reports, including performance metrics, downtime records, and any other relevant data to assess departmental performance.

9. **Dispatch Handling**: Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers, and handle any logístical challenges that may arise.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a label manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of converting processes, including slitting, sleeving, inspection, and label cutting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
