**Job Title**: Training and Placement Officer
**Location**: Haryana Institute of Information Technology, Near Aggarsain Chowk, Ambala City

**Job Summary**:
The Training and Placement Officer (TPO) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing training and placement activities for students. This role involves building strong industry partnerships, ensuring students are industry-ready, and achieving high placement rates. The TPO serves as the primary liaison between the institution, students, and corporate recruiters.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for training and placement in line with institutional goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, HR professionals, and industry leaders.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, industry interaction sessions, job fairs, and career guidance programs.
- Coordinate soft skills, aptitude, technical, and communication training sessions to enhance student employability.
- Prepare students for interviews through mock interviews, resume writing workshops, and personality development sessions.
- Maintain and update placement records, employer databases, and student profiles.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align training activities with curriculum and market demands.
- Track placement metrics and generate periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with alumni for mentorship, networking, and recruitment opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in placement, corporate relations, or career services in an academic institution or industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong network of industry contacts and knowledge of recruitment trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office, job portals, and CRM or placement software.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with government skill development initiatives or educational training schemes.
- Knowledge of student counseling and career development techniques.
- Ability to conduct online placement activities and use digital tools effectively.
