**Responsibilities & Key Deliverables**
- 1. Facilitate Layout Inspection for New Development & ECN related castings.
2. Preparation of PPAP documents to ensure First Time Right & Everything Right.
3. Ensure casting trials are done as per SOP & collect observations during trials.
4. Ensure tooling inspection as per drawing before release for trials.
5. Facilitate documentation for complete process flow of casting development including core making, core handling/assembly, core dipping & core setting at moulding line with production department.
6.Ensure routine tooling maintenance & inspection of conventional tooling in pattern shop.
7. Maintain & raise Purchase requisition of spares & consumables for pattern shop using SAP.
8. Cordinate with machining plants for observations & improvements in new development & ECN related castings.
9. Analyse & plan actions for castings rejection for new development & ECN related castings
10. Drive safety & 5S activities within department.
11. Conduct Product Audit of NPD items.
12. Rejection analysis in house & Customer end of NPD items.
13. Casting dimensional audit, Casting cut section analysis for wall thickness & Product’s special characteristics for NPD items.
14. Improvment activities like Kaizen, Yellow belt/Green belt projects, QMS activities like The Mahindra way
15. Updating PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow diagram

- B Tech/BE/DME Mechanical/Automobile / Prioduction Engg. Btech/ADC from NIFFT

**General Experience**
- BE/Btech 4-6 years / DME7-9 years

1. Knowledge of various foundry manufacturing processes (especially High Pressure Moulding, Automated core making, Sand Plant & Melting) & Casting machining.
2. Knowledge of PPAP, SPC, FMEA, APQP, MSA etc ;
3. Problem solving through standard approach : QC Story, DOE etc.
4. Hands on experience in Audits - Auditing skills, Process and systems audits.
- 5. Problem Solving skills with Presentation skills. ERP knowledge
6. Casting Inspection Skills using Surface Plate & CMM

**Critical Experience**
- 1. Hands on Experience on softwares e.g AutoCad, Unigraphics/ Solid Works/ Creo etc.
2. In depth knowledge of intepretation of 2D Drawings.
3. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan & Work Instructions (Especially variuos foundry preocesses).
4. Knowledge of various casting defects for effective analysis & acton planning.
5. Hands on experience of methoding/ Tooling designing in 3D softwares.
