**Key Responsibilities**
- **Design Creation**: Create original and innovative designs for seasonal collections, ensuring they align with the brand’s vision and market trends.
- **Trend Research**: Keep up to date with global fashion trends, color palettes, fabrics, and materials to influence design decisions.
- **Sketching & Prototyping**: Produce detailed sketches (hand-drawn or digital) and technical drawings of designs.
- **Fabric Selection**: Collaborate with the fabric sourcing team to select suitable fabrics and materials that meet the design, budget, and quality requirements.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the production team, pattern makers, and seamstresses to ensure designs are realized in the final product.
- **Fit & Adjustments**: Participate in fitting sessions, provide feedback, and make design adjustments as needed to ensure the final product fits the target customer perfectly.
- **Product Development**: Oversee the development of samples, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand identity.
- **Collection Management**: Assist in creating complete collections for each season, including design, fabric selection, color story, and production timelines.
- **Presentation**: Present collections to key stakeholders, buyers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with the brand’s vision and commercial goals.
- **Sustainability**: Implement sustainable design practices when possible, including the use of eco-friendly fabrics and production methods.
- **Costing**: Work with the production and sourcing teams to ensure designs meet budget and manufacturing constraints.
