Role Description

**Role Description**:
Incedo is seeking an experienced Jira administrator for Syneos Health team within Life Sciences,

that would lead / participate in tools upgrade, enhancements to standard workflows / configuration,

the governance process to assess user change requests, onboarding teams, migrating projects / data from other tools to this platform,

transition to the Atlassian Cloud & integrations with other tools such as ServiceNow.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk)
- Configure - Create complex JIRA workflows, configurations, and schemes (screen, field, permission, and notification). Manage integration with other products/services.
- Plugin Management - Responsible for managing existing plugins, evaluating, testing and deploying new plugins to address customer requirements.
- Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs
- Work with development and design teams to identify procedural efficiencies, such as with Jira Workflows, custom fields, etc.
- Devise, test, and deploy integration's between Atlassian products and other internal tool chains.
- Installing and configuring Jira/Confluence or other Atlassian products.
- Optimizing Workflows in JIRA
- Configuring User Permissions
- Conduct training for employees and new hires on JIRA and also briefing the team/s on new functionalities.
- Research and implement new approaches on Jira and Confluence usage. Prompt issue resolution with JIRA Projects and Confluence in coordination with other admins, partner teams and Atlassian premier support.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- 5+ years’ experience administrating Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk)
- Experience writing custom JQL’s, Plugins and Scripts for the Atlassian Suite.
- Expert level experience creating custom Workflows, Issues, Fields, and Screens
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Experience extending Atlassian products via code development.
- Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems.
- Knowledge of script runner.
- Strong experience in working in GxP environment to ensure appropriate validation of GxP systems.

**NICE-To-HAVE SKILLS**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive; Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
- Jira/Confluence migrations to other instances
- Understands the similarities and differences of Cloud and AWS/Data Center versions.

**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION**:

- B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/ MS Degree from a good Institute.
