**Position Title: Solution Architect**(_**Tamil Nadu)**_

**Position Description**: The Solution Architect of this consulting service is to support TNSMART.

**Contract Type**:Full-Time Contract

**Duty station**:TNSDMA office at Chennai, Tamil Nada, India

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum Qualifications:_
- **Knowledge**_
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Communication and Technology, or related fields.
- **Experience**_
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, system design, or architecture roles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions, including data integration and management systems.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting security audits, performance tuning, and system optimization.
- **Skills and abilities**_
- Strong technical skills in programming languages, databases, cloud computing, and relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in architectural principles, design patterns, and integration techniques.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or TOGAF (optional but beneficial).

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
Solution architect will report to Project director, with supervision of the Project coordinator, and in coordination with others in the Team, and shall have the following specific tasks:

- System Analysis and Design:_
- Conduct thorough analysis of technical requirements, existing systems, and state government needs.
- Design and document the overall system architecture, including component interactions, data flows, and integration points.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to meet project goals.
- Development Oversight:_
- Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the system architecture.
- Identify risks, issues, and potential bottlenecks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Security and Maintenance:_
- Conduct security audits, implement SSL, and address other vulnerabilities and attacks.
- Maintain and manage all available laptops, computers, and other technical equipment, ensuring hardware and software are functioning optimally.
- Provide inputs to secure the server and maintain system integrity.
- Technical Procurement:_
- Involve in the technical procurement process for video screens, display units, laptops, and other electronic items to establish the technical cell.
- Ensure that procured items meet the technical specifications and project requirements
- Others:_
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to gather input and ensure alignment.
- Develop and deliver training programs for RIMES personnel on system architecture, security, and maintenance.
- Provide technical assistance and mentoring to local organizations and government agencies to strengthen their IT capacities.
- Any other relevant work assigned by Project Director and Project Coordinator.
