- **The Role**_
The Counsellor will create and implement recruitment strategies to reach prospective students through events, referrals, online and print communications, and outreach opportunities to businesses and organisations. The role-holder will be expected to work independently, pro-actively as well as collaboratively.

- **Job description**_
The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Counsel students to promote our partner UK Universities and UK Education.
- Call students who are in our database to introduce Student Connect and its Services.
- Liaise with Visa & Compliance Team to convert students in ethical and compliant manner.
- Work towards targets and work with the conversion team to reach & exceed goals
- Respond in fast and timely manner to your students to increase conversion
- Liaise with our Partner Universities in professional and timely manner.
- Attend Education Events overseas
- Deliver presentations to students face to face (virtually and also in person) and through online platforms
- **Person Specification Qualifications**_
Must have previous experience on UK Higher Education recruitment. You must be fully familiar with UK Education system and have full knowledge on student counselling, UK University admission and UK student visa requirements.
- **Skills**:_
- A very good understanding and experience of working in the UK university admission processes.
- Understanding Entry requirements of studying in the UK. (Training provided if needed to gain in depth understanding)
- Understanding the different admissions policies of our partners & universities (Training provided)
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to work towards specific targets
- Understanding of different cultures, and working with students / colleagues / partners of different backgrounds
- Ability to self-motivate and self-manage your student portfolio through positive relationship management.
- **Who we are looking for**:_
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal, customer service and communications skills, and the confidence to liaise with Partner Universities, Regional Offices. You will have experience in the UK higher education system and will require minimum training. You will be able to hit the ground running and achieve quick progress and establish new processes using your previous experience. You will be able work under your own initiative to manage your workload, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
