**Job Description for the post of Resident Doctor (MBBS)**

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
1. Provide primary healthcare and medical consultation to all elderly residents.

2. Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis.

3. Monitor and manage emergency medical situations until advanced care is available.

4. Conduct regular health check-ups and maintain medical records.

5. Coordinate with nurses, caregivers, and visiting specialists for overall resident healthcare.

6. Advise on diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications for elderly residents.

7. Supervise medication administration and ensure proper adherence to prescribed treatments.

8. Maintain infection control and hygiene standards within the facility.

9. Guide and train care giving staff on handling medical situations and elderly health management.

**Key Requirements**:
l Qualification: MBBS (with relevant experience in Geriatrics, General Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred)

l 2-5 years of experience in elderly care, general medicine, or hospitals.

l Strong knowledge of geriatric medicine, emergency care, and chronic disease management.

l Ability to work in a compassionate and patient-centric environment.

l Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with elderly residents and their families.
