Welding Foreman

**Job Title**: Welder Foreman
**Location**: Oragadam, Kanchipuram
**Department**: Fabrication / Production
**Reports To**: Production Manager / Plant Head

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and assign daily tasks to welders and helpers.
- Interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure proper setup of welding equipment and materials.
- Inspect welds for quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain safety procedures and ensure use of PPE by all team members.
- Train new welders and provide guidance to improve skills and efficiency.
- Coordinate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers.
- Maintain records of job progress, man-hours, and material usage.
- Ensure timely completion of work as per project schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a welder and supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Familiar with safety and quality standards in welding operations.
- ITI/Diploma in Welding or Mechanical (preferred).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
