Overview:
Titan, a leading jewellery brand, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Executive-Category to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As a Merchandising Executive-Category, you will be responsible for managing the merchandising activities for our Jewellery-SMR category under the Merchandising-Tanishq department. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement merchandising strategies for the Jewellery-SMR category in line with the overall business objectives
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and sales to develop new product lines and improve existing ones
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or discontinuation of products
- Analyze sales data and make pricing recommendations to maximize profitability
- Plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales and increase brand awareness
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for product innovation and improvement
- Train and mentor junior merchandising team members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the jewellery industry
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Willingness to travel for market visits and supplier meetings

Additional Parameters:

- Experience in managing the Jewellery-SMR category is preferred
- Knowledge of the Tanishq brand and its products is a plus
- Experience in e-commerce merchandising is an added advantage

**Work Experience**

Education: Graduate

Relevant Experience: 0-2 years with experience in Jewellery/fashion/garments buying/merchandising
