Job Description for Group Controller

Key Objectives of the role

Financial Reporting: End to End responsibilities for timely publishing

Consolidated & Standalone financials as per applicable standards for

Public listed entity for the size of ₹ 400 cr Revenue.

Provide comprehensive financial analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet &
Cash flow to CFO/ Senior Management by evaluating, analysing, and

reporting appropriate data points.

Audit & Assurance & Risk Management: Independently handling &
driving timely closure of Stat audits, Internal audits, IFCR.

Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.

Month Close, Payroll, AP & AR Process supervision: Derive the change

to optimize efficiencies for Payroll, Billing, AR, AP, Taxation processes.

Support for driving budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis,

and corrective actions.

Help develop and support short
- and long-term operational strategies.

**Responsibilities**:
Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and

organizational budgets and actual expenditures.

Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating

benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on

biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.

Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures

across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while

remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation.

Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of

company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.

Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that

creates an environment of trust and productivity.

Required skills and qualifications.

Chartered accountant with minimum of 15-18 years of experience.

7 or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance

manager, financial controller

5 years or more experience in handling Big 4 auditors, strong in IndAS

5 years or more experience with Listed companies
- preferred from IT, CLM

industry (Not mandatory) with turnover size of 300 crore or more

ERP experience - SAP, Tally

Excel, PPT exposure
- Medium to high

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Superb organizational and time management abilities.

Well versed with Payroll, Billing, AR, AP & Taxation processes.

Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance

reporting
