**What role you will play in our team**:
Lab Technician is responsible for performing testing of sample in day-today operation, including ensuring safe working environment with zero accidents and also ensure contractors adhere to established standard maintenance procedures and JLA (Job Loss Analysis).Ensure Product Integrity and Controls compliance with company policies, guidelines, and framework

**What you will do**:

- Perform QC analysis of products and raw material samples according to ExxonMobil Process and Standard, ASTM, and other approved test methods.
- Update test data into the QALIMS for generation of reports and batch release.
- Inspect Certificate of Analysis (COA) for incoming raw materials.
- Ensure that established test methods and equipment operating procedures are followed.
- Ensure that all testing raw data and results are recorded in a timely manner and in conformance to DIAF requirements.
- Ensure the raw data & records are retained in the respective files according to established document retentions guidelines.
- Communicate with manufacturing staff in routine operations and provide quality control support to the blending, filling, and bulk receipt operations. E.g., flushing and service change advice, correction of off-spec blends etc.
- Verify that laboratory equipment is in working condition, informing Chemist or M&C Coordinator of non-functional or out-of-control equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting of instruments in out-of-control situations.
- Ensure effective hand-over of responsibility to in-coming shift.
- Assist Chemist/PIA in investigating manufacturing and product quality issues e.g., conducting hand blends and testing activities.
- Participate in Brand Approval support role and testing of samples from Zone affiliates. This includes performing lab blends for new product formulations, changes to formulations and investigative work.
- Cover duties of other laboratory technicians during absences and provide support for overtime work outside of normal working hours.
- Assist in updating of test methods and instrument operating procedures.
- Perform or coordinate equipment calibration and maintenance activities according to plan and test method requirements.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by Lab Chemist / Technical Manager.

- Ensures safe working environment with zero accidents.
- Ensure contractors adhere to established standard maintenance procedures and JLA (Job Loss Analysis).
- Familiar with Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) expectations on the maintenance of plant facilities.
- Participate in safety walks, inspection, near miss reporting, Loss Prevention Self-Assessment (LPSA) and LPS.
- Familiar with Work Control, Work Permit procedures, and Tier 1 Best Practices (T1BP).
- Participate in safety survey (e.g., Industrial Health survey etc.) as required by management to follow up on
