What you will be doing: Monotype is looking for a high-energy Agile Trainee who can has a zeal to learn about the power of Agile practices, and use it to deliver the next generation of solutions for the global market. You will be key to helping us develop well-functioning Agile teams by facilitating daily Scrums, backlog refinement, identification of risks and ensuring teams are communicating with each other and enabled to autonomously own their commitments & constant improvement. The individual in this role will be focussed on driving top line and bottom-line business success by helping drive: 1. Organizational commitment & urgency 2. Greater operational rigor This person will: - bring know how around the principles, practices, of Lean and help build an Agile mindset and culture within teams. - have a very customer centric mindset. - facilitate estimation and planning, daily progress, customer reviews, demos and retrospective sessions with teams. - facilitate continuous improvement efforts by the squads, by implementing take away from retrospectives and implementing concrete solutions to make the squads more efficient and improve delivery success. - provide insights into areas for improvements with a focus on outcomes and with the objective of establishing a culture of autonomous management as well as self-improvement in individuals and squads. What we are looking for: - College graduates with keen interest to learn about Agile mindset and implement Agile Principles. - Knowledge of SDLC. - Knowledge of AGILE principles and basic techniques. - Demonstrated ability to develop a good understanding of the team dynamics and build high performing teams Thrive in an environment of constantly changing projects with tight deadlines. - Exceptional communication skills - Basic knowledge of Jira tools. - Zeal to develop collaboration, facilitation and problem-solving skills - Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments. - Passion for impeccable quality and customer success - Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving. - Ask thoughtful questions to help our customers, product owners, and product managers to maximize ROI and meet company objectives. Understand product strategy and benefits of key deliverables in the area of responsibility. - Facilitate discussion and decision-making on identifying gaps and how to fill them appropriately.
