Position Overview:
As a CTL Operator (Cut-to-Length Operator) in our steel plant, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Cut-to-Length machines to ensure efficient and accurate cutting of steel coils according to specified dimensions. Your role is crucial in maintaining production quality and meeting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Cut-to-Length (CTL) machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up machines according to product specifications, including coil width, thickness, and length.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accurate cutting and precise dimensions of steel coils.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment for defects, malfunctions, or abnormalities and report any issues to the maintenance department.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Load and unload steel coils onto the CTL machine using appropriate lifting equipment or cranes.
- Conduct quality checks on cut steel coils to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and excess material from the machine.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet production targets.
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a CTL Operator or similar role in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures accurately.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to operating heavy machinery.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and able to lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Certification or training in machine operation and safety protocols is a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
