This Position reports to:
Production Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**

In this role, you will supervise shift team's progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure
the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines within a production area. Cooperates with the unit supervisor
to create an effective work environment and reinforce production schedules and quality.

The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Traction Division in Bangalore.

**You will be mainly accountable for**:
- Organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently, responding to resource issues as necessary, leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.- Provides regular feedback and makes recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities, and possible critical situations.- Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary. Reinforces focus on volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.- Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities and overseeing implementation ofactions to improve production performance.- Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams

**Qualifications for the role**:
- Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.- With 3 to 5 years’ experience of Production shopfloor preferably in Traction products.- To ensure that Production is made based on the requirement and specification.- Experience in managing a team of operators or technicians, ensuring productivity and efficiency.- Proven track record in improving production processes, reducing downtime, and optimizing workflow.
