**Role Definition**
A frontline Leader for the CAS programs (Dance, Music, Arts and Drama) with the responsibility of driving the Academic Goals to the students and taking care of their co-curricular aspirations and needs.

**Tasks & Activities**

- **Delivering the Curriculum**
- In charge of curriculum implementation as per directions of the Principal.
- Plan and understand the devised curriculum and the academic goals. Convert or cascade the same to practical actionable items for the teachers to deliver.
- Develop, clear, teacher specific academic goals for teachers and provide support to them with necessary resource materials and guidance in achieving these goals.
- Conduct regular collaborative meetings, stay back to monitor and ascertain the progress made and guide the teachers who need help with the help of Principals.
- Actively contribute to the Curriculum planning by gathering intelligence and feedbacks and create a database and evidences that will help support to provide feedback to the Principal and CAS team in designing and implementing a relevant, challenging and rigorous curriculum.
- **Operational In-charge**
- Liaise with teachers in formation of daily timetable.
- Ensure that the Teachers and the students are present and punctual for the day, timetable is being followed and substitution is put in place for absentees.
- Supervise, guide and support the teachers on their day-to-day routines,
- Ensure that the teachers are keeping accurate and complete records and conduct class observation.
- Assist Principal in preparing the school dairy events, holidays, teacher records, report cards and other academic records.
- Ensure the school happenings are in progress as per the rules laid down and Report to the Principal on regular basis.
- Manage and approve the attendances of the teachers and also take care of their work-related needs and their emotional and professional wellbeing.
- Ensuring that the campus language, reminder system, disciplinary policy, culture and ethos are followed.
- Responsible for organising and conducting cultural events involving CAS programs in collaboration and discussion with Principal.
- Responsible in preparing event budget forms in collaboration with Principal and submitting for the approval to the management.
- **Supporting the STUDENTS**
- Being accountable for the academic, social and emotional well‐being of children under your purview
- Track student progress, set systems in place to identify the gaps and provide support.
- Ensure each child is given attention and given equal opportunity to perform.
- Motivate the teachers to develop progressive personalized goals for each student depending on the student’s capacity and ensure that the progression is carried out.
- Encourage students to give feedback on their academic needs and try to support it with the help of the teacher.
- **People Management & Resource Management**
- Assist the HR / Principal in recruiting and training the faculty
- Ensure optimal workload and work utilization for every teacher
- Appropriate numbers of staff are to be maintained. Both staff numbers and workload should be ideal. Not extremely high or very little.
- Identify the Training Needs for each staff, communicate the same to Principal /PDC and ensure the particular teacher is attending the same.
- Create a positive work climate where the teachers are satisfied personally and professionally. Always look out for teachers who are getting saturated and have an alternate plan for them.
- Communicate and orient the academic goals to the respective teachers in the year beginning and conduct class observations.
