**About the Role**

Our Platform Team is responsible for building a multi-cloud platform to host thousands of customers across globe and we are looking for a passionate senior technical leader to be part of this team. Reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering and Architecture, you'll help our platform and product teams by providing advice-in-code for complex and challenging problems.

You'll provide direction, mitigate risk and offer solutions tailored to their business needs. From migrations of existing workloads to building advanced cloud-native solutions, you'll help shape and execute to increase agility, improve security, reduce costs and meet utilization targets. You bring a balance of technical depth and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and coordinate with teams throughout the organization. You'll work closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, platform, and SRE teams to align on architecture and operations. You bring focus to and support the decisions that matter when utilizing the cloud computing services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Experience architecting and building scalable cloud native software ideally in SaaS model with expertise in tools like APIGEE, Mulesoft, Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, and at least one public cloud services, Azure or GCP
- Experience building API portals, dev advocacy and API marketplace integrations
- Understand design patterns, clean architecture, domain-driven design, component-based architecture, and evolutionary architecture
- Design the API platform with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and privacy requirements (FedRAMP, PCI, SOC2, GDPR, and more)
- Develop company wide API architecture standards and best practices to drive efficiency
- Experience with TTD or BDD.

**About You**
- BS degree in Computer Science, and 12+ years of software development experience.
