**Role Description**

The Originator generates ideas and assesses opportunities for pitching new business to clients, based on a good understanding of the client’s capital structures, the competitor landscape and deep knowledge of financial markets/regulatory requirements.

The Originator is responsible for the preparation of relevant materials and will pitch to new or existing clients with the aim of winning the mandate for the Bank.

The Originator will have overall accountability for the smooth execution of transactions working in close partnership with relevant internal functions, ensuring adherence to Bank policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Originate and grow business from existing clients and deepen the relationship across other products.
- Setup strong momentum on client callings
- Ensure that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with a client across different geographies and products are explored.
- Work with regional/local partners across coverage and product teams.
- Liaise with global and local credit risk management teams for maintenance and setup of existing/ new credit facilities.
- Own the Client Adoption, Client Life-cycle Management/Know Your Customer process and manage the credit risk of the client portfolio.

**Your skills and experience**
- Communicate and coordinate with all internal functions/stakeholders such as Client, Client facing team, Sales, and Relationship Managers etc.
- Continually seek ways to improve the process and journey by leveraging on feedback.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets would be beneficial.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (Project Management experience is a plus)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and understanding of new developments in the financial services market.
