Production Supervisor(Garments or Textiles Industry)

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage production line activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager to plan and prioritize production orders based on customer demand and inventory levels.
- Oversee and ensure the efficient use of resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to meet production targets.
- Monitor and analyze production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Train, mentor, and lead production staff, fostering a positive and safety-conscious work environment.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality control departments to address equipment issues and maintain product quality standards.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in the production process.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and records, including performance metrics and KPIs.
- Address any production-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field. Relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience (X years) working in a supervisory role within the têxtiles and garment manufacturing industry.
- Sound knowledge of production processes, garment manufacturing techniques, and têxtile production equipment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage and motivate a diverse production team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make quick, informed decisions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
