Roles and Responsibilities

**Educational Planning**:

- Assist students in developing academic plans and setting educational goals.
- Provide information about available courses, majors, and academic programs.
- Help students create a course schedule that aligns with their academic and career objectives.
- **Career Counseling**:

- Offer guidance on career exploration, job market trends, and potential career paths.
- Provide resources and information about internships, co-op programs, and job placement services.
- Conduct assessments to help students identify their interests, skills, and values in relation to potential careers.

**Personal and Social Support**:

- Offer emotional support and counseling to help students navigate personal challenges that may affect their academic performance.
- Address issues related to stress, time management, and work-life balance.
- Refer students to appropriate resources for additional support, such as mental health services.

**Academic Advising**:

- Monitor students' academic progress and intervene when necessary to address academic challenges.
- Help students understand academic policies, requirements, and procedures.
- Collaborate with faculty to identify students who may need additional support.

**College and University Admissions**:

- Offer guidance on writing personal statements and preparing for interviews.

**Conflict Resolution**:

- Mediate conflicts between students, faculty, and administrators related to academic matters.
- Advocate for students' needs and concerns within the institution.

**Orientation and Workshops**:

- Conduct orientation sessions for new students to familiarize them with academic resources and support services.
- Organize and facilitate workshops on study skills, time management, and other relevant topics.

**Record Keeping and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of students' academic progress and counseling sessions.
- Generate reports and documentation required for academic purposes.

**Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about current trends and issues in education and counseling.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support the overall well-being of students.
- Participate in meetings and committees focused on improving the educational experience for students.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
