**Job description**
We are seeking a savvy, motivated IT Project Management Apprentice to join our team. This will provide you with an unforgettable experience in a dynamic and global environment. We are looking for a passionate advocate to drive operational efficiency with strong analytics and who has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. You must be an effective communicator, comfortable analyzing data and financials, coordinating PMO activities, and passionate about metrics and a future in project management.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the PMO (Project Management Office) in tracking open actions, conducting ad hoc deep dives to provide data insights useful for decision-making, analyzing processes to track, monitor, and resolve improvement opportunities
- Coordinate and contribute to improvement of critical IT Project Management Office processes, including readiness for governance, resource mapping and key metrics
- Support the IT Project Financial Forecast process including the monthly financial project roll-ups for multiple portfolios and help track costs details related to individual projects
- Support Program Managers in one or several projects by assisting them in tracking open actions and conducting ad hoc deep dives to provide data insights useful for decision-making
- Work with the PMO to identify process improvement or standardization opportunities
- Contribute innovative long-term/lasting solutions beneficial for the entire team
**Key Learning Objectives**
- You will learn key success factors to project implementation, project financials, and stakeholder management in a complex and global environment
- You will use advanced project management tools and successfully provide the PMO and project members with support
- You will develop skills to extract and manipulate financial data, gain insights on forecasting, and master the usage of metrics for driving business decisions
- You will learn how to communicate results and status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management
**Basic Qualifications**
- You are currently working towards a graduate degree in Business Management, or a similar discipline, or have graduated within the last year
- Strong financial inclination with excellent analytical skills, preferably with advanced level in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Problem-solving mindset, proactive issue resolution skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- You can demonstrate curiosity and proactivity, allowing you to gain greater autonomy during the internship and fully achieve your learning and development goals.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous experience (a summer job, internship), especially in a related field or business, is preferred.
- Basic Project Management terminology training or course
