The Gynaecologist Consultant plays a vital role in providing comprehensive healthcare to women, specializing in gynecological and obstetric care. - Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations and health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat various reproductive health issues.
- Manage prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care for expectant mothers.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including cesarean sections and hysterectomies.
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to promote health.
- Educate patients on family planning, contraception, and sexual health.
- Lead and supervise patient care teams, ensuring effective delivery of care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and monitor patients’ progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Stay informed of advancements in gynecological practices and procedures.
- Participate in health fairs and community outreach programs to promote women's health.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with health issues.
- Adhere to hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD,MS, or DNB).
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Proven experience in performing gynecological surgeries.
- Strong understanding of reproductive health issues.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions.
- Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare colleagues.
