**Position Overview**:
As a Quantity Surveyor at KNK Designs Architects, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver outstanding architectural solutions. Your expertise in managing costs and ensuring financial efficiency will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and offer strategic insights to optimize project budgets. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction, renovation, and restoration projects.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, making necessary adjustments to maintain financial targets.
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors during the tendering process to evaluate bids.
- Manage contracts, negotiate terms, and address contractual issues as they arise.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through value engineering without compromising quality.
- Assess potential risks that could impact project costs and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular progress reports on project costs and financial status.
- Prepare final financial accounts upon project completion.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the architectural or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation, budget management, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in relevant software tools for cost estimation and project management.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and practices.
