**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Associate (IT)**

The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) is looking for a dynamic **Associate (IT) **to drive the following responsibilities for the **Program Development of Semiconductor & Manufacturing ecosystems/Schemes**. The role will be instrumental in shaping the ISM which aims to build a vibrant semiconductor and display ecosystem.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- System Administration
- Smooth management and functioning of ISM portal.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts pertaining to LAN, VLAN, WAN, MPLS and Networking Devices Administration and maintenance in a multi-platform environment**.**:

- Proficient in the installation & configuration of a wide range of equipment with sound knowledge of technologies.
- Hands-on experience with networking equipment Router/Switch preferably of CISCO and sound knowledge of Routing Protocols: RIP, RIP2, EIGRP and OSPF.
- Knowledge of Switch functions: VLAN, HSRP, VRRP, STP, PVSTP, NAT, PAT, DHCP, NTP, ARP, ACL and operations on Switch i.e., Port Security/MAC Binding.
- Well-versed with Network protocols: TCP/IPv4, IPv6 and Subnetting.
- Expertise in the knowledge of information security principles and practices.
- To identify Potential attack vectors such as SS, injection, hacking, ransomware, spoofing, DDoS, cyber security, and social engineering.
- To Evaluate & develop an approach to solutions &proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network.
- Engage in assessing vulnerabilities and determining the root cause of security incidents.
- System outages, alerts, and reports of abnormal system behaviour due to suspected security-related events such as viruses, Trojan activity, and hacker intrusions.
- Risk assessments for identity and access management controls.
- Handle user complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the stipulated time.
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Liaison with the development team for identifying ongoing issues, managing response and helping the development team during resolving the issues.
- Familiarity with MS office, reporting and documentation and Outlook Configuration.
- Implement and maintain the computer systems so they are compliant with the organization’s guidelines or SOP (Standards Operating Procedure).
- Install and configure operating systems and other software and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues
- Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills.

**Qualification:

- **
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field required (Master’s preferred)

**Experience:

- **
- 3+ years’ experience in System & Network Support
- Sound knowledge of Network protocols: TCP/IPv4, IPv6 and Subnetting
- Well-versed with IT/Web & cyber security practices.
- Experience creating automated scripts and software preferred
- Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and protect trade secrets
- Exceptional networking skills and knowledge
