We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized MRD Executive/Officer to manage and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and update patient (vet) medical records both in physical and digital formats.
- Ensure timely documentation, indexing, and archiving of medical records.
- Coordinate with veterinarians, nurses, and front office for collection and completion of patient files.
- Retrieve and provide medical records for internal departments as and when required.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of medical records in compliance with hospital policy and applicable laws.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports related to MRD.
- Handle medical record requests from pet parents or referring veterinarians as per authorization protocols.
- Support in digitization and implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system if applicable.
- Follow up on pending documentation and ensure closure of records in a timely manner.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Life Sciences, Health Information Management, or Veterinary Sciences).
Certification or diploma in Medical Records Management is an added advantage.
1-3 years of experience in MRD, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting (veterinary experience is a plus).
Knowledge of medical terminology (including veterinary terms) and standard coding practices.
Familiarity with data protection laws and ethical handling of sensitive information.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry, EMR systems).
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
