Solution Architect

Key responsibilities
- Producing compelling and innovative solution designs aligned to business requirements and communicating them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Having direct involvement in the end-to-end system development lifecycle (SDLC), from solution requirements gathering and validation activities through to Production deployment
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers, Developers and end-users to deliver working solutions in an Agile and Iterative manner
- Working with Architects, Product Owner and Managers to produce architecture roadmaps, including continual improvement and adoption of new technologies, have good quality documentation, and follow all relevant governance steps
- To be the architect to work with other architects to define the end-to-end solution & design covering all involved systems, data, integration, security and non-functional requirements
- Adherence to defined principles, policies and process standards published by Data Governance office
- Present solution in various forums (Design and Architecture) and with different teams like Security, Privacy

Skills & Knowledge
- Proven architectural leadership experience across Analytical and Data Management Technologies, SaaS solutions within a large Enterprise
- Experience with Data tools (e.g., Collibra, Solidatus, IBM IGC, Waterline, Informatica, Alation)
- Applied knowledge of Enterprise Integration (SOA, Restful, ESB), Security and Identity and Access Management (IDAM) (Kerberos, SAML, Single sign on (SSO), Data on-boarding and engineering covering stream and batch-based paradigms, Integration of 3rd party technologies running in clustered environments
- Infrastructure concepts to support business continuity and operations e.g., performance, disaster recovery
- Knowledge of Dev Ops (Atlassian, Agile, Continuous Integration (CI), Test Automation, Scripting, AWS/Cloud)
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and stakeholder management
- Goal oriented, structured thinking and effective organizational skills
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level (or overseas equivalent

Desired Experience
- Previous experience of Financial Services would be advantageous
- Previous experience of Data programs implementation
- Relevant professional qualification or graduate calibre
- Expert level knowledge of industry best practice

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical partners and to listen to identified concerns and adapt accordingly
- Ability to influence across multiple functions (technical and non-technical)
- Flexible in approach, adapting plans and strategies to help manage risks around ambiguity
- Problem solver with a strong intuition for business and well-versed in current technological trends and business concepts
