Part-time Stem Intern Teacher

**Position**: STEM Intern/volunteer Teacher (Part-Time)

**Location**: Remote (Anywhere at Tamil Nadu)

**Subjects**: STEM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and Computer Science)

**Requirements**: PC/Android device over 10 inch of screen size with uninterrupted internet connection.

Our goal is to nurture a generation of young minds who are equipped with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly changing world. As an intern teacher, you will play a key role in fulfilling this mission by bringing engaging, high-quality STEM education to students who need it the most.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning**: Develop and deliver lesson plans, activities, and exercises that align with the Tamil Nadu State Board curriculum for students of different age groups (mostly from grades 6 to 12) through Google Classroom.
- **Engage Students**: Create a dynamic and interactive learning environment through innovative teaching methods and digital tools, making learning fun and accessible for students from rural areas.
- **Provide Academic Support**: Offer personalized academic assistance and mentorship to help students understand complex STEM concepts.
- **Monitor Progress**: Track student attendance and learning progress, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- **Adapt to Remote Learning**: Utilize various online platforms and tools to deliver classes and assess students' work efficiently.
- **Collaborate**: Work closely with fellow educators, administrators, and program coordinators to ensure the effective delivery of the program with periodic status reports through Project Management tools and standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Language Proficiency**: Must be fluent in Tamil and English for effective communication with students and understanding their needs.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Comfortable using online learning platforms (Google Classroom, Google Meet, Google Drive and other LMS.), creating digital resources, AI tools such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT and managing virtual classrooms.
- **Flexible Hours**: Willingness to work part-time with flexible hours, typically in the evenings or weekends, depending on the school schedule.
- **Good Communication Skills**: Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage with students of various learning abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with the Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus.
- A degree in Education or currently pursuing B.Ed
- Experience working with underserved or rural communities.
