**Job Title**: Design Faculty

**Location**: RK University, Rajkot

**Position Type**:Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Curriculum Development: Design and update course materials and curricula to ensure alignment with industry standards and emerging trends.
- Student Support: Mentor and advise students on their academic progress, portfolio development, and career goals.
- Portfolio Guidance: Assist students in creating and refining their portfolios to effectively showcase their skills and projects.
- Research and Development: Stay current with advancements in software and design technologies, and integrate new tools and techniques into the curriculum.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other faculty members and departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning and foster a collaborative environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Freshers can also apply
- Previous experience teaching design-related courses at the collegiate level is preferred.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Proficiency in design software including Inkscape, SketchUp, 3D Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, visual thinking, and portfolio creation.
- Ability to teach and inspire students across a broad range of design topics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to support and mentor students effectively.
