PMO (Civil/construction)

Role Purpose: The National Cricket Academy
- BCCI (NCA) intends to setup cricket grounds and infrastructure of international standard and excellence on its own land in Bengaluru.

The resource will oversee, supervise and provide necessary inputs for the above project till it is completed with desired standards of excellence and quality, ensuring that it is completed in a timely manner and within the approved budget.

**Brief Job Description**:

- Preferably from Civil/Construction Engineering background with 3-4 years of experience
- Strong understanding of Construction and project management knowledge areas and proven knowledge and expertise
- Efficaciously administering and performing end-to-end project management including pre-construction, construction & post-construction activities for large and mid-scale capital projects
- Understanding client brief, specifications & site feasibilities. Liaise with project team, client and consultants in gathering information & develop project strategy
- Tracking necessary statutory approvals. Coordinate & mange with consultants and other external and internal agencies for seamless progression of the project implementation process.
- Preparing Bid documents including RFP, RFQ, EOI etc.; assist the client in evaluation of bids and finalization of selection and onboarding process.
- Assisting the client in tender and procurement process. Tracking procurement schedule and help the client in vendor finalization
- Design management in Coordination with client, consultants, project team & contractors to receive, filter and issue design information for timely completion of construction projects. Chair & manage design team meetings
- Driving meetings and communications with project stakeholders (internal and external) with the objective to fulfill the key project requirements in terms of identifying, categorizing, mitigating and / or avoiding project risks and ensuring timely fulfilment of the deliverable commitments and meeting key deadlines
- Coordinating with Cost consultant and / or client team in implementing budget & cost control for proposed project as per approved schedule and cost. Tracking budget with anticipated cost & cash flow in reporting it to client.
- Planning work breakdown structure (WBS), preparing master schedule & and implementation milestones in line with the core objective of the client.
- Tracking of baseline schedule and monitor cost performance index, schedule performance index and scope adherence
- Coordination with design consultant for timely approval of good for construction drawings (GFC), shop drawings, mock-up drawings & material approvals in line with approved timeline
- Preparing periodic report and presenting the same to client demonstrating project status, progress, risks and risk management plan, and other key performance indicators of the project
- Assisting the team in conducting technical and functional internal audits in terms of project management knowledge areas as well as operations of plants and equipment
- Prior Consulting experience is a plus however not mandatory
