Decathlon Sports has been present in India for more than 10 years and our first retail store was set up in 2009 in Bangalore. We have more than 80 stores spread across India with further expansion plans. **Profile**: **JOB OBJECTIVE & RESPONSIBILITIES** **Co-Building a long term vision** - Support the team and BU leaders to build a long term vision and business plans highlighting the strategy and work together to identify the risks and opportunities, steer action adjustments to achieve the goals. - Support the definition of performance metrics and KPIs aligned with the country strategy. - Develop trusted relationships and have a multidimensional view of the business. - Challenge the current ways of working, identify and actively contribute to the improvement and optimization of business processes & organizational development, including upgrade of tools, processes, reports and metrics to accurately forecast business results and proactively manage performance to meet business objectives. - Boost Business through financial and commercial support towards new model development and aid creativity in launching new Planet initiatives. **Animating Business ambitions** - Work with the team and Business to ensure that the planning, reporting and analysis produced are efficient, controlled and deliver insight and value to the business. - Influence and support the business decision, by using real time data, on the day to day business cases - Drive the preparation of high-quality performance reviews for analysis, understanding of performance and for making optimized decisions in short and medium term. - Protect the business by securing governance, integrity and risk mitigation. - Drive, along with the team, the annual budgeting, rolling forecast and strategic planning processes; communicates in a timely, structured and standardized basis. - Ensure the Business Forecasting competence is shared and acquired by the business team for analysis & understanding of performance and for optimized decision making. - Ensure that the Team for which responsible fulfils their purpose ad meets their deliverables - Responsible for the maintenance of agreed reporting catalogue and updating the related reporting guidelines and governance. **Monitoring the risks** - Playing an active role on risk management with your BU leaders. **PROFILE** - You have a working experience (3-5 years ) as Finance Analyst/ Economic Advisor and a minimum qualification of CA/ MBA/ PGDM. - Retail or Digital Business Background is preferable - You have good presentation and communication skills. - You have a strong interest for analysis and project management. - You have a team spirit and a strong sense of customer service. - Your energy and curiosity will help you understand and evolve our processes.
