**DESCRIPTION**
**Job Summary**:
The Mechanical Maintenance - Level II role performs maintenance and machine support tasks to ensure equipment availability and operational capability. This position requires the selection and use of appropriate tools, machinery, and specialty equipment while working with limited guidance. The role involves learning and adhering to protocols for working safely with electricity and other energy sources, specifically related to industrial equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)**:
- Immediately stop work and report any major injury hazards.
- Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
- Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment and encourage a culture of looking out for one another.
- Correct hazards within control and understand the environmental impact of work to minimize negative outcomes.
- Engage in HSE training and practices to ensure safety.
**Quality**:
- Support equipment uptime and contribute to downtime failure analysis.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
- Provide feedback into the preventive maintenance system and adhere to process documentation and quality procedures.
- Perform quality inspections and raise issues to minimize costs and quality exposures.
**Delivery**:
- Perform and document preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
- Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints and schedule maintenance activities around production requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving processes.
**Teamwork**:
- Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all supporting teams.
- Complete training and personal development according to business requirements.
- Actively participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, material flow, and employee development.

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**:

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Knowledge/Skills**:
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery like CNC Machines, Grinding Machines, and EDM machines.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using testing equipment, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure equipment safety and minimize downtime.
- **Repairs and Replacements**: Repair or replace faulty electrical components or wiring, and handle connections and circuit rewiring.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow safety standards and codes, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) practices.
- **Documentation**: Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and parts used, updating equipment logs as necessary.
- **Preventive Maintenance**: Implement preventive maintenance to mitigate equipment failure or breakdown.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with maintenance personnel and communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
