The Sec & Derivatives Supv is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of securities and derivatives transactions. This Role is part of CFIL Treasury Ops to support CFIL Treasury business and ensuring meeting stringent timelines for the various deliverables required for CFIL Market Business Products like Debenture & Commercial Paper issuances / Settlements and their regulatory framework. **Responsibilities**: - Supervise operating efficiency and ensure the entire team meets performance and quality expectations of assigned tasks - Evaluate team performance and make recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, staffing, etc. - Resolve escalated issues and provide appropriate closure to those problems - Identify opportunities for process improvements, including service or technology enhancements and train staff on all changes - Analyze data to identify control deficiencies and resolve discovered issues through implementing appropriate procedures - Identify control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures - Serve as backup for manager as required **Qualifications**: - 2-4 years of relevant experience - Experience in people management - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills **Education**: - Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
