Production Supervisor

**Job Title: Production Supervisor - CNC & VMC Machining**

**Job Type**: Full-Time
**Duty Hrs**:

- 9.00 am - 7.00 pm
**Salary**: Up to ₹50,000 CTC per month
**Experience**: 6-10 years

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Manpower Management**:

- Supervise & Monitoring of team CNC, VMC, HMC and deburring operators ensuring efficient task allocation.
- Manage employee performance, offering guidance, training, and regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Handle daily manpower scheduling, ensuring appropriate coverage for shifts, and handle any staffing challenges, such as absenteeism or overtime.
- Foster a positive team culture, promoting collaboration and problem-solving.
- **Production Planning & Target Achievement**:

- Set realistic and achievable daily, weekly, and monthly production targets in collaboration with the Planning department
- Ensure that production schedules are adhered to and adjust manpower or resources to meet deadlines as required.
- Track production progress, adjusting priorities to address delays or issues promptly.
- Ensure efficient machine setup, operation, and timely changeovers to minimize downtime and achieve production goals.
- **Quality Assurance & Process Control**:

- Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all parts produced meet the required standards and specifications.
- Implement corrective actions for quality issues, collaborating with the quality control team to resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality, ensuring that all processes are optimized for maximum efficiency.
- **Machine Maintenance & Safety**:

- Coordinate routine maintenance schedules and ensure that machines are running at optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues and liaise with the maintenance team to quickly resolve downtime.
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized, following 5S principles to improve efficiency and safety.
- Ensure that the team follows all safety protocols and workplace safety standards, conducting regular safety meetings and training.
- **Production Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of production data, machine performance, and staff schedules.
- Report any issues, progress on targets, and resource requirements to the production manager.
- Assist in preparing regular reports for management on production progress, downtime, and workforce performance.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma/Deg. From Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical certification in manufacturing, machining field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- **Min. 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor** in a **CNC and VMC machining environment** (preferably in a small-scale or medium-sized organization).
- Hands-on experience in CNC and VMC operations, machine setup, and tool changes.
- Ability to manage a small team and oversee production targets in a dynamic environment.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and mentor a small team.
- Ability to make quick decisions and manage production workflows efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of CNC VMC HMC Grinding and Honing machines, as well as tool setting and programming.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of production planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and continuous improvement practices.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in Work NC software and basic CNC programming (G-code, M-code).
- Knowledge of machine calibration, tool management, and troubleshooting.
