Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects. Develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure projects are completed within scope and budget.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and consultants. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of deliverables, ensuring they meet the required standards and best practices. Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to the team.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery. Develop mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution of problems.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for Salesforce initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations to improve processes and enhance the value delivered to clients.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skill sets are applied to the right projects. Manage resource capacity and workload balancing.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, tools, and processes. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Delivery Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 8 years experience in managing Salesforce projects.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
- Knowledge of Salesforce development languages and tools (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
- Client Focus: Strong client management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and building long-term relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant).
- Experience with other CRM systems and integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
