- Job description**Senior User Experience Designer**

Overview:
Korn Ferry is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their in-house Global UX practice to build our next generation suite of web-based products. Key responsibilities will include gathering requirements from Product Owners, defining personas and their associated core actions, creating workflows and user journeys that outline each user’s path through the product or feature and translating those into interactive wireframes for validation with stakeholders and customers through user testing.

We are looking for a strategic player who has an eye on the bigger picture, even when they are focused on one part of the product. This individual needs to be adaptive and understand iterative design within an agile process. This role requires a self-starter, with strong communication and leadership skills, who enjoys collaboration across disciplines and is comfortable in a leading problem solving and design sessions amongst peers as well as stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

- Strong background working with tools such as Sketch, Adobe suite, and Axure.
- Thorough knowledge of User Experience processes, design patterns and methodologies, to allow for rapid design iterations within an agile/lean UX environment.
- Passion for UX methodologies like Human factors, User Centered design, and advanced usability techniques, with knowledge of Accessibility a plus.
- An understanding of iterative customer centered product development and rapid prototype development.
- Experience with rich UI and chart tools, with advanced knowledge of data visualization a plus
- Software/product design experience required on both desktop and mobile cloud based and saas based products.

**Skills**:

- Ability to build personas, journeys, workflows, and wireframes to define complex business cases and user paths through a product, and to deliver customer validation though the use of contextual inquires, persona development, usability studies
- Ability to perform user research, including identifying the outstanding need, drafting the screener and script and working with the team to source the users. Ability to moderate is a plus.
- Ability to synthesize findings from research or testing in a digestible and engaging format for stakeholders and Sr. Management
- Ability to mediate and gather requirements from disparate teams of individuals and seamlessly drive these through the entire user centered design process.
- Ability to create responsive wireframes and to think strategically in a mobile atmosphere.
- Ability to create low and high-fidelity prototypes, with an understanding of Axure’s deep interactive functionality.
