**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled **Air Conditioning Technician** to join our team at **Ashjoe Cold Chain**, specializing in **truck refrigeration and truck body building**. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in refrigerated trucks and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance for temperature-sensitive transportation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems in trucks and refrigerated vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of truck refrigeration units to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in cooling systems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Work with truck body builders to integrate refrigeration systems effectively during vehicle manufacturing or modification.
- Test refrigeration systems for leaks, performance, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain service logs and reports on maintenance, repairs, and parts usage.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company and industry safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, or truck refrigeration systems.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including Thermo King, Carrier, or similar truck refrigeration units.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues in refrigeration systems.
- Welding, brazing, and pipe-fitting skills are a plus.
- **Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for on-site service and repairs when required.
