The Contractual Tourist Guide Trainer will conduct focused training programs for aspiring tourist guides in Chhattisgarh, equipping them with necessary skills, historical knowledge, and best practices in customer service. This role requires creating a curriculum centered on Chhattisgarh's cultural, historical, and ecological offerings while promoting responsible and sustainable tourism practices. This contract-based position will be for a specified duration, aligning with the training project timelines and objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Program Design & Curriculum Development**:

- Design a tailored training program emphasizing the history, cultural heritage, geography, and tourist spots of Chhattisgarh.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, and interactive exercises that foster effective learning and retention.
- Develop modules on communication skills, customer service, safety protocols, and sustainable tourism.
- **Training Implementation**:

- Deliver engaging training sessions both in the classroom and on-site at popular tourist destinations.
- Use practical and interactive methods, such as role-playing and field exercises, to develop trainees' guiding skills.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to improve communication, storytelling, and language skills essential for guiding.
- **Evaluation & Feedback**:

- Assess trainees' progress through evaluations, mock guiding sessions, and practical tests.
- Provide individual feedback and guidance to improve trainees' performance and ensure they meet the required standards.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure all training adheres to local tourism guidelines, including cultural sensitivity, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Stay updated on Chhattisgarh’s tourism policies, safety standards, and responsible tourism practices to incorporate in training.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and performance data of trainees.
- Submit periodic reports on training outcomes, trainee progress, and any issues to the project supervisor or authority.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, History, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a tourist guide or trainer, ideally in Chhattisgarh or similar cultural regions.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with the ability to train adult learners.
- Fluent in Hindi and English; local dialects or languages are a plus.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with a focus on experiential learning.

**Contract Details**
- **Duration**: Contract basis, with terms based on project requirements (e.g., 3-6 months).
- **Remuneration**: Competitive daily or monthly rate, commensurate with experience.
- **Other**: Travel allowances for site-based training sessions.
