**Job Title: Cyber Security Intern**
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Cyber Security Research**:
○ Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

○ Analyze current security trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance security measures.

○ Assist in the development of research papers, reports, and presentations on findings.

2. **Tool Development**:
○ Develop and enhance security tools and scripts for internal use.

○ Collaborate with the team to design and implement new tools that address specific security challenges.

○ Test and validate the effectiveness of developed tools in various environments.

3. **Operating System Development**:
○ Contribute to the development and customization of secure operating systems.

○ Implement security features and harden OS configurations to protect against threats.

○ Perform security testing and debugging on developed OS components.

4. **Penetration Testing**:
○ Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities to assess the robustness of security measures.

○ Document findings and provide recommendations for improving security posture.

5. **Collaboration and Support**:
○ Work closely with senior security researchers and developers to support ongoing projects.

○ Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

○ Provide technical support and assistance to other team members as needed.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:
○ Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Knowledge and Skills**:
○ Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.

○ Familiarity with cyber security principles, practices, and tools.

○ Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite).

○ Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and their security configurations.

○ Ability to conduct independent research and analyze technical information.

○ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

○ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

○ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- **Preferred Qualifications**:
○ Prior experience in cyber security research, tool development, or penetration testing.

○ Knowledge of secure coding practices and software development lifecycle.
