**Position Overview**:
The Product Designer will be a hybrid role aimed at individuals with a unique blend of creative and analytical skills. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end development of new products - from ideation and design to overseeing production and ensuring quality control.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Product Design:_

Develop concepts and designs for new ergonomic furniture products.

Utilize software tools to create detailed product specifications and prototypes.

Collaborate with the marketing team to understand consumer needs and insights.

Stay updated with industry trends and competitor products.
- Production Coordination:_

Liaise between design teams and manufacturing units to ensure seamless production flow.

Oversee the production schedule, ensuring timely completion and adherence to design specifications.

Collaborate with suppliers for the procurement of required materials.
- Quality Control (QC):_

Develop and implement QC protocols for all products.

Regularly inspect production batches to ensure they meet set quality standards.

Coordinate with production teams to rectify any detected issues and prevent future occurrences.

Handle any product quality complaints, ensuring swift resolutions and customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration:_

Work closely with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, and customer service.

Provide regular updates and reports on product development, production, and quality control to senior management.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design, preferably in the furniture sector.

Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.

Strong understanding of production processes and quality control techniques.

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects concurrently.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
