Introduction:

- Role involves a high degree of engagement with multiple stakeholders, business partners, across different business functions and groups while building and maintaining relationships with Leaders and their teams
- Support continuous improvement of the operational process and the development of Best Practice. Suggesting ideas to improve systems and processes where necessary and evaluate the benefits and risks of such proposals
- Ensuring all activities & duties are carried out by the team in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise wide risk management framework & internal policies

What will you be doing?
- Role holder is responsible for work allocation within the team, ensuring the team carries out all activities & duties in full compliance with regulatory requirements, enterprise wide risk management framework & internal policies and in adherence with service level agreements
- Demonstrate accountability - Proactively contribute to team performance through maintaining a flexible approach to tasks, providing input to continuous improvement and being receptive to change support Audit activities, external controls & checks using comprehensive knowledge of Lending processes, products and activities including pre sanction conditions, monitoring & controls, documentation etc
- Ensure that the highest quality and accuracy standards are achieved in all deliverables by self and the team
- Support continuous improvement of the operational process, suggesting and executing ideas to improve systems and processes where necessary and evaluate the benefits and risks of such proposals
- Provide periodic and timely reports to the management, summarizing team activities and statistics on driving business success
- Performance management of direct reports, providing continuous feedback on performance and taking accountability for team upskilling and development

What we’re looking for:

- 8 years + experience in Lending Operations space.
- Working knowledge of Secondary loan trading space
- Strong control awareness
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent relationship management skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Good knowledge on Loan Syndications, Secondary Loan Trading and Settlements, Reconciliation, ACBS, LoanIQ
- Team Leading experience
- Good influencing and negotiation skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
