**Shot blaster - Job Description**

This is a mid-level position responsible for carrying out production as a shot blaster promptly without degrading the quality of jobs. Works with limited supervision from a detailed specification that spells out every requirement for the specific job. The job requires each weld to be completed to the specified standards using appropriate equipment and materials while following the employer's recommended procedures.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Must have a deep understanding of paint and shade matching.
- Must know how to use automatic as well as manual machines.
- Should have experience in the switch coating industry with metallic paints as well as lacquer paints.
- Must know and how to use a cubic coating machine( wood finishing ).
- Must know about surface preparations and related tests
- Should be able to carry out production solely without supervision and without degrading the quality of material

**Basic Qualifications**
- Minimum two years of related experience and/or training

- Standard requirements. Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting and reaching will all be required occasionally in this position
- Standing for long periods
- Must meet all ISO and company requirements
