**Job Summary**
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks.Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial ransactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Cash allocation
- Managing daily post in and out
- Handling and writing cheques
- Verifying calculations working with the Accounts system
- Managing petty cash transactions
- Basic understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
- Process bills for payments
- Maintain files & records
- Update & maintain accounts database
- Any other clerical work assigned
**Key Skills**
MS Excel, Accounting, Cash Handling, Billing, Cash Management, English, kannada, Hindi
**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bengalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
